Wendy Sue Besaw, age of 52, of Willsboro passed away July 29, 2020 at her home with her family by her side. She was born on August 22, 1967, in Elizabethtown N.Y. daughter of Milo and Edith (Cross) Rand of Lewis.
Wendy graduated from Elizabethtown-Lewis Central School in 1986. She enjoyed working on crafts, needle points, and bowling. She also enjoyed family outings at the Essex county fair. Spending time with her grandkids, family and junior (dog) brought her pure joy.
Wendy is survived by her parents, her companion John Elsworth of Willsboro, her children Jessica (Adam) Venner of North Hudson, Christopher Besaw (Desiree Boyle) of willsboro, grandchildren Kaydence Besaw and Cameron Venner, sisters Kelly Ely of Ashland, VA, Becky(Bob) Provost of Willsboro and Holly (Gary) Hathaway of Willsboro as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Wendy is predeceased by her granddaughter Paige Venner, grandparents Thomas and Peggy Cross and Roger and Agnes Rand.
Donations may be made to Lewis American legion Aux. unit 1319, American cancer society and Essex county fair association.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday August 4, 2020 at the Lewis Cemtery in Lewis. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heald Funeral Home, 7521 Court Street, Elizabethtown.
