It is with a heavy heart that we must share that our father, Wayne R. R. Porter, 51, is no longer with us. He passed away the weekend of 5/11. He is no longer suffering from the daily pain and struggle that renal cell carcinoma put him through the past few years.
He may have lived a short life, but he made sure he lived it to its fullest. Wayne was a great friend to many and played an active role in the community while he was the proprietor of Precision Auto-Collision Center. He enjoyed repairing and restoring vehicles as well as donating custom paint jobs to local organizations. He was known for lending a hand to others, stating what was on his mind, and constantly making people laugh.
Wayne leaves behind many children who he loved dearly including Shayne Arroyo, Krystal Jaquish, Brandon Porter, Cole Porter, Wriley Porter, and a child he considered his own, Connor St. John. Wayne is also survived by his brother, Rob Porter, his sister, Cindy Scranton, and his mother, Marge Porter. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. He is predeceased by his father, Wayne Porter.
Calling hours will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Sunday May 19, 2019 at Heald Funeral Home, 48 Court Street, Plattsburgh. Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
