Tille was a very proud mother and grandmother to her four children and 10 grandsons. They were her greatest joy and she was their biggest cheerleader. She made sure to be at every home game, it didn’t matter the sport. She even made as many of the away games that she was able to get to. She also did not miss any of the theater productions her grandchildren were in. Besides high school sports, she also enjoyed going to local auto racing, playing bingo and tending to her massive garden. For many years, the family would gather at the homestead, enjoying a good game of volleyball and enjoying a good cookout, everyone brings a dish. Tillie also was the lady who would welcome the new neighbor to town with a fresh baked pie as it was the neighborly thing to do.
