Thomas J. Wells

Thomas J. Wells Sr., 82, of Willsboro passed away Sunday November 13, 2022, at CVPH Medical Center with his beloved family by his side. Tom was born in Willsboro on August 28, 1940 to father Dennis Wells and Anna (McCarthy) Wells.
After Tom got out of school he headed directly into the work force. Tom worked for Doug West, Fullers Excavation, Irwin Barbers and completed his working career with his buddy Garvey on Garvey Farms. Tom absolutely loved his family and loved family time sitting around the table and playing a good game of cards and laughing with the boys. Tom had a passion for hunting and was in the woods every chance he got. When he was home you were sure to catch him watching the football game or a good old western. Tom's sense of humor and wink will always be remembered.

Tom is survived by his children, Dale Wells of North Carolina, Valarie Daniels of Willsboro, Thomas Wells Jr. of Reber, Brian Wells of Virginia, and Daniel Wells of Willsboro, eight grandchildren, Sara, John, Brian, Eric, Samantha, Jessica, Danny, and Everett. Sister Margaret Daby of Essex, Joseph Wells of Columbus Ohio, and Ann Surprenant of Malone, NY. He was predeceased by his brother Edward Wells of Maine, Dennis Wells Jr. (Terry) of Elizabethtown, Bernard Wells (John) of Kentucky, Grandson Patrick Wells of Reber, and Great Grandson Beckett Wells of Reber.
A Graveside service will be held Thursday November 17, 2022 at 11 am at the Reber Cemetery with a reception to follow at the Reber United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Tom's memory may be made to the Willsboro Essex EMS.
