Susan Burch

Susan Ellen (Carter) Burch was 64 when she sadly left us to go to the Lord on March 28, 2024 after a long illness.

Susan is survived by her mother, Helen H. Carter; her oldest son Matthew Burch and her youngest son Andrew Burch; brother Duane and SukCha Carter; sister Cynthia and Mark Millington; brother John Carter, and sister Rebecca and Ben Reynolds; and many nieces and nephews.

Susan was predeceased by her father, Rev. Clinton H. Carter; her husband Joseph David Burch, Jr.; and her sister Mary Ann Carter.

Susan loved children and to babysit, as well as collecting Cabbage Patch and porcelain dolls. She also loved the color red because of Cardinals. Susan attended Fort Edward School.

A funeral service in her honor will be held on April 7th, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 155 Ballard Road, Gansevoort, NY, 12831 with Pastor Heather Williams and Pastor "Glen Flannagan.

The family would like to thank Susan's friend Katrina and also the Essex Center in Elizabethtown.
