Sue E Baker, 61, of Witherbee Road passed away December 22, 2022 with her family by her side. She was born on March 1st, 1961 to Harry and Phyllis (Boyle) Ryan at Moses Ludington Hospital in Ticonderoga.
Sue graduated from North Country Community College where she received her degree as an RN. She worked as a nurse at many locations throughout her career, but her last was at Essex County Public Health which was her favorite place to do the thing she loved. She loved taking care of people in their own homes. She worked with public health until 2005 when she suffered a stroke and could no longer work. Most recently she enjoyed doing puzzles and spending every moment she could with her grandson.
Sue is survived by her sons Brock( Amanda) Douglas of Witherbee, Weylin ( Athena) Baker of Port Henry, the apple of her eye her grandson Gavin Douglas of Witherbee, sister Cathy ( Allen) King of Willsboro, Paula(Bruce) Anson of Elizabethtown and Donna Lamotte, Barbara Smith, Nancy Brown and Patsy, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is predeceased by her mother, father, stepfather Orin Lamotte, brother Harry J., brother Mike, Bobby, Danny, Charlie, Eddy, sister Judy and her two daughters Marissa Ryan and Santa Baker.
