Simon G. Perry, Jr., 74, of Plattsburgh, passed away Friday January 15, 2021 at UVM Health network CVPH in Plattsburgh. He was born in Plattsburgh on November 15, 1946 son of the late Simon and Anita (Daniels) Perry.
Simon was a Vietnam veteran serving in the US Navy serving aboard the USS Constellation. He was a loving and kind soul. He always made sure his family was well taken care of. Family and friends were everything to him and it showed. He was lovingly referred to as “Pops” and “PaPa”. He was a singer and drummer in his hay days. We will miss him breaking out in song while tapping whatever was in front of him as if it were a drum. He sure could sing! He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Simon is survived by his significant other of 15 years Claudette (LePage) Aubin, four siblings, Joan Reyell, Barbara Dyer and her husband Rick, Linda Latour, David Perry and his wife Sharron, 2 Grandchildren Patrick Dubray and Ashley Dubray, 3 Stepchildren and their spouses, 8 Step Grandchildren and 3 Step Great Grandchildren, and a sister in law Beverly Perry. He is predeceased by his wife Sharon (Lyman) Perry and Daughter Sylvia (Perry) Dubray, seven siblings, Bernard, Margaret, James, Shirley, Gary, Thomas and Deborah.
A memorial service and burial will be held at a later date.
