Shirley A. Morrison

Shirley A. Morrison, 82, of Bushey blvd and formerly of Champlain, passed away peacefully Thursday August 9, 2018 with her loving family by her side, at UVM Health Network CVPH in Plattsburgh. She was born in Champlain on November 21, 1935 daughter of the late Joseph and Emma (St. Andrew) LaPan.
Shirley is survived 5 children. Louis and Debbie O’lena (Morrison) of Champlain, Cherrie Morrison of Altona, Cindy Fresn (Morrison) of Rouses Point, Ronnie and Donna Morrison of Mooers, Todd and Tina Bombard (Morrison) of Morrisonville. She also leaves behind 13 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren. Shirley is predeceased by 2 daughters and one Great Grandson – Kathy Holiday (Morrison), Crystal Lapier (Morrison) and Zachary J Whalen. As well as her parents and siblings.
Shirley loved spending time with her grandchildren. She had a passion for preparing large family dinners. When she was not cooking something special, she was crocheting, knitting or doing some form of craft. Shirley was in many local craft fairs. She was also known by many that knew her, she loved going to Bingo with her sisters.
A celebration of life will be held at the American Legion on Route 9, Chazy, NY on August 18th at 5:00 pm.
