Roger G. Reyell passed away on Friday, November18,2022. Roger of was born in Springfield Massachusetts on June 25, 1945, to Lyia Bushey Reyell and Elmer W. Reyell. Roger is survived by his daughter Kaylin Reyell, three grandchildren Julian Smith, Mackenzie Smith, and Ryker Collins all of Malone. He leaves one Sister Lee Rose Waldron, and (Thomas), of Redford, sister-in-law’s Beverly Reyell and Joan Reyell both of Plattsburgh along with many nieces and nephews.
He is pre-deceased by both his parents, along with his sister Rosemary and (Francis) Rasco, and brother Frederick Reyell, Albert Reyell, and Harvey and (Mary) Reyell.
Roger entered the United States Army at the Age of 17 in 1962and served until 1982. Serving his country was one of his great honors. He served in Vietnam, receiving many honors as well as a purple heart which is something he rarely shared. Upon retirement from the Army, he worked for twenty years at Lockrows in Plattsburgh.
Roger will be put to rest at the Assumption of Mary Cemetery in Redford, NY. There will be a grave side service on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at 10:00 am.
