Robert G. "Bob" Tourangeau

Robert G. “Bob” Tourangeau, 85, of Route 22N in Plattsburgh passed away Friday December 7, 2018 at Essex Center in Elizabethtown. He was born on January 1, 1933 in Richmond Vermont son of the late Fredrick and Rose (Roberts) Tourangeau.
Bob served in both the US Air Force and US Army. He had the privilege of taking Honor Flight #23 to Washington DC. Bob retired from NYSDOC after 25 years.
Bob is survived by his wife Shirley of Plattsburgh, his children; Robert Tourangeau Jr. and his wife Donna, Anne Schmelzle and her husband Jim, Linda Burnell and her husband Joe, Mark Tourangeau and companion Amy, John Tourangeau and companion Sue, Rose Baker and .her husband Barney, Russell Tourangeau, siblings; Caroline Mason, Eva Durkee, Diane Micheud, Fred Tourangeau, Phillip Tourageau, twenty one grandchildren, 41 Great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his step children; Anthony Fabrizi and his wife Nicki, Kathleen Reardon and her husband Brian, Gina Orts and her husband Tom, six step grandchildren and seven step great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday December 16, 2018 at VFW Post #125, Boynton Ave., Plattsburgh. Burial will be at a later date in St. Alexander’s Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Heald Funeral Home, 48 Court Street, Plattsburgh.
