Robert "Bob" Jacques

Robert (Bob) Jacques, of Willsboro, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at CVPH/UVM Medical Center. He was born on November 7, 1948, to Arthur and Dorothy (Bridge) Jacques.
Bob graduated from Willsboro Central School, enlisted in the US Navy SeaBees, and served in Viet Nam. Bob was a former harness horse driver, trainer, and owner, and worked with his father and brother Peter at Jacques Stock Farm in Willsboro. He retired as a Union Crane Operator in the Albany area. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, and a good bargain.
Bob is survived by his mother, Dorothy Bridge Jacques, his sister, Deborah Prendergast, and his brother Peter (Linda) Jacques, also was a proud uncle to his nephews Cory, Nathan, and Marc Jacques, and his niece, Shannon Stevens. He was predeceased by his father, Arthur, and his brother in law, Kevin Prendergast. Bob dearly loved all his dogs, especially Kizzie and Doc.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Donations may be made in his name to the North Country SPCA.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Heald Funeral Home, 7521 Court Street, Elizabethtown.
