Regina McPhail

September 22, 1941 — July 30, 2014

Regina McPhail passed away July 30th @ CVPH Medical Center after a courageous 21 month battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born in Cuxhaven Germany on September 22nd 1941 and moved to Long Island, NY IN 1949 with her parents Wilson and Margarethe Moseley.

She married Bruce McPhail on October 20th 1962 and moved to Lewis,NY where she raised her family. She is survived by her husband Bruce, Daughter and son-in-law Colleen and Richard, and their two children Nicholas and Maxwell of Saranac, her son Sean of Lewis, her sister Karen Martin (Joe Martin) of South Carolina and her brother Christopher Moseley (Claire Boucher) of Montreal/China, her sister-in-law Kathy and Lou Lindstadt and family of Florida and brother-in-law Scott McPhail and family of Florida, and her beloved Sadie.

Regina was predeceased by her parents and father and mother-in-law Scotty and Joan McPhail. Although she held many jobs Regina was deeply passionate about her years at The Childrens Center. She worked there until the "Lights of her life" were born Nicholas and Maxwell. Regina was always involved in every aspect of her children and grandsons lives, whether it be fieldtrips, assemblies, sporting events, she was there supporting them and their friends. Regina was a wonderfully compassionate woman who touched many lives. We all will be much sadder without her in it. Everyone was a better person for having her touch their life.

A memorial service will be held on Monday August 4th at 11:00 AM at the First Congregational Church in Lewis, NY. A celebration of Regina's life will follow at the Lewis Parish Hall.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ECH Infusion Clinic or the SPCA in Elizabethtown.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Marvin-Heald Funeral Home, 7521 Court Street, Elizabethtown.
