Rebecca Beck

SUNSET, UTAH Rebecca (Becky) A. Beck passed away peacefully at her home in Sunset on December 4, 2013. She was born in Plattsburgh, New York on April 22, 1942 to Frank Rivers Sr. and Florence Rivers. She was married to her loving husband, James L. Beck for 43 years. Rebecca enjoyed crafts, cooking and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Church of Nazarene in Layton. She is survived by her children Warren Beck (Dena) of Syracuse, and Cary Zipperer (Ron) of Clinton. Rebecca had four wonderful grandchildren Krystyna (Monterey, CA), James, Zachary, and Yukon. Also surviving are her brothers Frank Rivers Jr. (Plattsburgh, NY), Charles Rivers Sr. (Beekmantown, NY), and Ernest Rivers (Beekmantown, NY); sisters Eleanor Dupree (Plattsburgh, NY) and Lois Baker (Riverdale, Utah). She was preceded in death by her parents Florence Rivers and Frank Rivers Sr.; brother John Rivers; sisters Dorothea Thurber and Florence Beal; and son Douglas Beck. Rebecca, we love you and will miss you! Calling hours will from 10:00 to 11:00 am Thursday December 12, 2013 at Heald Funeral Home, 48 Court Street Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow in the Heald Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Lum, Pastor of Church of the Nazarene in Plattsburgh, officiating. Burial will follow in Ingraham Cemetery.
