Randy Morrison, 59, of Plattsburgh, passed away in his home on South Peru Street. “Slick” as he preferred to be called, was born January 26, 1960 to Geneva (McClain) Finlayson.
Randy was a devoted and loving father, brother, and grandfather. He was free spirited who loved his family and friends dearly. He enjoyed hiking with his son and his family. He was an old spirit who loved watching old westerns, like Wyatt Earp, who Nathans son was named after, and classics like Lonesome Dove, Ponderosa and John Wayne movies. Randy was a soul who felt connected to Celtic and native American music and Irish and native culture.
Randy is survived by his son, Nathan Morrison, his fiancé, Brittani Hellen, their son Wyatt Morrison, and Nathan’s half-sisters Jessie Dame and Meagan Lafountain and his half-brother Jayson Lafountain. He is also survived by his mother, Geneva (McClain) Finlayson, his sister, Nicole Poupore, her children Cory, Kaitlyn, Emily and Noah, and his brother, Brian Morrison. Randy is predeceased by his brother, Richard Morrison.
Calling hours will be September 5, 2019 from 10:00am – 12:00pm at Heald Funeral Home, 48 Court Street, Plattsburgh. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
