Marshal F. Dumas, 51, of Moss Road in Lewis passed away unexpectedly, Saturday February 18, 2017 at UVM Health Network ECH in Elizabethtown. He was Born in Plattsburgh on April 8, 1965 son of the late Floyd and Shelby (DeGray) Dumas.
Marshal enjoyed the outdoors. He loved fishing and camping with his family. He enjoyed making toys for his only grandson.
Marshal is survived by his companion of 21 years, Debbie Cross of Lewis, two sons Brandon Dumas and his wife Jordan of Lewis, Levi Dumas of Lewis, Daughter Jamie Dumas and her companion Ashley Bonhomme of Plattsburgh, siblings; Betty Dumas, Robert Dumas and his wife Susie, Cathy Boire of Beekmantown, Edward Dumas and his wife Karen of Las Vegas, Paul Dumas and his companion Kimmie Fountain of Plattsburgh, his grandson Daydrien Dumas of Lewis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive guests from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Thursday February 23, 2017 at Heald Funeral Home, 7521 Court Street, Elizabethtown. A prayer service will follow in the Heald Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at a later date in Deer Head Cemetery in Lewis.
