Marilyn A Flora (Baker), 63 of Carmel Drive in Plattsburgh,NY passed away January 3rd, 2017 at Cvph Medical Center with her husband Richard Flora, children( Lindsay Baker-Flora Mark and Jessica Finnell) and other relatives that were by her side as she was departing us and going to be with her father Harold Baker, our beloved family pets, Jerry Lee, Layla, Chloe, Munch, and many other family and friends. Marilyn loved all of her children and grandchildren more than anything in this world. Her children are Lindsay Baker-Flora, Mark Finnell and his wife Jessica Finnell of Churubusco, and Shannon Finnell of Wallace Hill. Her grandchildren are Hannah Cumm, Jonah Baker-Flora, Abigail Dapo, Gage Finnell, Connor Finnell, and Sophia Baker-Flora. Marilyn was a hard worker all of her life. She managed many retail stores and ran her own cleaning business along with working full time. Marilyn was the most caring person ever. She always went above and beyond to help others and would give her last dollar to anyone in need. She also enjoyed helping raise awareness about Autism since her oldest grandson was diagnosed when he was young. Marilyn fought an extremely hard battle for 2 years after being diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. Marilyn enjoyed spending time with her sister Laura Brunell going to the church shopping. She also loved traveling to Latham, NY husband, daughter, and grandchildren. Marilyn is missed so much by her family, friends, and all of the people who she helped in their time of need.
