Lyman P. Mero, 79, of River Lane in Willsboro, passed away Saturday February 28, 2015 at UVM-Health Network-ECH in Elizabethtown after a short illness.
Lyman was a long time employee of the Paine family of Willsboro. He was very active in the Willsboro Fish and Game Club and Rifle League. He was also a very active parishoner of St. phillip of Jesus Catholic Church and a Fourth degree Knights of Columbus. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Lyman was involved in the Senior Center and Senior Nutrition Program.
Lyman is survived by his daughter Luanne Weiskotten, Grandchildren; Melanie Johnson (Earl), Hillary Steen (Michael), Jeremy Weiskotten (Stephanie), Samuel Weiskotten (Maurita), Nathan Weiskotten, eight Great-grandchildren, siblings; Helen Fish, Grace Maddaloni, joyce Baumann (Walter) and Roy Mero. He is also survived by many nieces and Nephews. Lyman is predeceased by his wife Pamela and his daughter Amanda Viens (Donald).
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 13:00 AM Thursday march 5, 2015 from St. Phillip of Jesus Catholic Church in Willsboro with Rev. raymond Moreau Celebrating. Burial will be at a later date in the Cavalry Cemetery in Willsboro
