Linda Smith

Linda Smith, age 72, of Keene NY passed away on July 31, 2022 at Elderwood of Uihlein. Linda was born on September 11, 1949 in Plattsburgh, NY to Clifford and Bernadine (Bezio) LaRose.
Linda was a very loving and compassionate person who wore her heart on her sleeve. She spent much of her life caring for others, young to old. She most enjoyed feeding those she loved and if you did not have a favorite dish of hers, you were missing out.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 54 years, Roland "Butch" Smith of Keene NY; her sister Brenda (Michael) Demulling of Peru NY; her children, Donald (Kimberly) Smith of Keene, NY, Dean (Deborah) Smith of Keene NY and Tonya (Christopher) Barry of Saranac Lake, NY; her most adored grandchildren, Alexis and Kyle Smith, Connor Smith and Ian and Cooper Barry; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Clifford L. Larose.
The family would like to thank the staff at Elderwood of Uihlein for their care and kindness. Donations may be made to the facility in care of the funeral home.
There will be no public calling hours. A graveside service will be 10:00 AM Thursday August 4, 2022 at Norton Cemetery in Keene, NY.
