LeRoy O. Crowningshield Jr.

Leroy O. Crowningshield Jr., 79 of Willsboro, NY passed away peacefully at UVM Medical Center in Burlington, VT with his loving family by his side. He was born on February 20, 1943, the son of the late Leroy Sr. and Rose Crowningshield.
He married Elizabeth Haynes on July 2, 1966, barely newlyweds; he was drafted into the United States Army from 1967 until 1969. During their 43 years of marriage, they were blessed with 3 children and had many wonderful years together until her death in May of 2009. He worked for NYCO for over 40 years during his career, he also started his Lawn Furniture Business which he loved and operated until his death. He was also an avid hunter and cherished those times with his brother Roger. He is greatly loved and is missed by many.
Left to Cherish his memory, his companion, Elaine Townsend, his children Eric Crowningshield, Virginia King, and Amy Duncan, his sister Linda Gerber and his sister-in-law Bonnie, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, his special nephew Travis Crowningshield and his special friends Pete Sayward, Brian Aubin, and Ronald Pulsifer. He is predeceased by his parents, wife and brothers Roger and Gary Crowningshield.
A graveside service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Essex County Veterans Cemetery.
