Joseph Ludwig Huttig, a beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on November 7, 2023, at the age of 34. Born on July 1, 1989 to his loving parents George and Julie Huttig, Joseph was a remarkable individual who touched the lives of those around him in countless ways.

Joseph, known affectionately as Joe, lived a life filled with joy and passion. His kind heart, infectious laugh, and unwavering commitment to his loved ones will forever be remembered.

Joe excelled as the General Manager of Adirondack Chevrolet Buick in Elizabethtown. Proudly working for the family company, he exhibited exceptional leadership and a tireless work ethic. His devotion to his career was evident in his mastery of the field, earning him the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike.

Beyond his professional achievements, Joe possessed a genuine love for sports. He was an avid fan of the Knicks, the Giants, and golf, particularly being captivated by the talents of Tiger Woods and Kobe Bryant. His passion extended to his own participation in sports, having been a valued member of the Ithaca College golf team during his time there. Joe's athletic prowess shone brightly during his high school years, where he was a four-year starter in Varsity Soccer, a two-time Division Champion in Varsity Basketball amassing 1059 career points, and a six-time Conference Champion in golf, qualifying twice for the State Golf Match.

In 2010, Joe's life took a beautiful turn when he crossed paths with Amanda during a hiking expedition to the iconic Hollywood sign. Together, they built a life centered around a shared love for family and friends. Joe found solace in the company of his beloved feline companions, Polly and Bogey. They brought him comfort and warmth, sharing in the love that was such a significant part of his life.

Joe had a profound affection for his family, his parents George and Julie, and his siblings, Charlie, Sam and Tessa, held an irreplaceable place in his heart. His love extended to his niece, Zoey, and nephew, Logan, as he embraced the role of uncle with joy and enthusiasm. He was a constant source of guidance and support, bringing laughter and joy to their lives and to the lives of the children of his closest friends.

Joseph's education was a testament to his dedication and thirst for knowledge. He held a Bachelor's degree from Ithaca College and further pursued his passion for cutting-edge media management, earning a Master's degree from Syracuse University. His academic achievements were a reflection of his insatiable curiosity and commitment to personal growth.

Although our hearts are heavy with grief, it is important to remember the immense impact Joe had on each one of us. His spirit will forever live on through the memories we hold dear.
