John Page Ferebee, 89 of West Chazy passed away on July 11th 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Chesapeake, VA on February 25, 1929 son of the late Julian and Margaret (Temple) Ferebee.
John was a devoted husband and father who will be truly missed and carried in the hearts of his family always.
He enjoyed sitting on his front porch and speaking to everyone who passed by. He truly loved his neighborhood friends along with the families at the campground.
Left to cherish the memory of John is his devoted loving wife of over 50 years Sandra Ferebee, his children; Cassandra Barcomb and her husband Jeff, Margaret Hanson and her husband Mark, Daniel Ferebee, Kristin Sogluizzo and her husband Jack, Bill Ferebee and his wife Sheila, Patti Ferebee, a brother Charles Ferebee and his wife Phyllis “Fluff”, many beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren; Marcus Hanson and his son Graham, Anthony Hanson and his wife Amanda and their daughters Inara and Talia, Patrick Barcomb and his wife Kim and their son Zach, Christopher Barcomb and his wife Jessica and their son Archer, Nicholas Sogluizzo, Andrew Sogluizzo, Isabella Sogluizzo, Alexis Sogluizzo, Caylin Sogluizzo, Samantha Jarvis and her daughter Charlotte, Kelsey Jarvis and Cameron Paulson, John Ferebee and his wife Susan and their daughter Anna Paige, Ryan Ferebee and his companion Stacy and their children Trey, Drew and Olivia, Jamie Netherton and her husband Seth and their daughter Bailey, also Danielle, Timothy, Samantha and Adam Ferebee. He is predeceased by mother and father in Law, Daniel and Mildred Snow, two brothers; Robert and Ralph Ferebee and a son Vernon Ferebee.
Calling hours will be from 1-3 PM Sunday July 15, 2018 at Heald Funeral Home, 48 Court Street, Plattsurgh. A service will follow at 3:00 PM in the Heald Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Donations in John’s memory may be made to Third Age Adult center at Plattsburgh State.
