Joan M. Bouchard, 73, of Flynn Ave., passed away with her loving family by her side, Saturday June 11, 2015 at the Clinton County Nursing Home in Plattsburgh. She was born in Plattsburgh on February 28, 1942 daughter of the late Wesley and Mamie (Tourville) Miller.
Joan enjoyed bird watching, reading, and gardening. She was especially fond of her family, which were her pride and joy. As a cosmetologist for over 40 years Joan touched many lives and was a mother and friend to many.
She is survived by three daughters Renee Gauthier of Plattsburgh NY, Michele Parrish and her husband Keith of North East PA, and Giselle Acors and her husband Richard of Moores Forks, as well as a brother Michael Miller and his wife Norma of Pawling NY, and a sister Annabelle Campbell and her husband Jack of Churubusco NY. Nana had 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren over her lifetime.
She was predeceased by her daughters Claudette-Ann, Margeau Lynne, and Dominique Collette. Nana (Joan) will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Calling hours will be from 4:00 to 6:00 PM Wednesday June 15, 2015 at Heald Funeral Home, 48 Court Street, Plattsburgh, NY. A memorial service will follow in the Heald Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
