Janet A. Nemeth

Janet A. Nemeth, 86, of beautiful Elizabethtown NY, passed away on 11/21/2022, surrounded by her friends and family.
Janet, born on 7/9/1936 to Hazzy and Fanny Quick in Wallkill NY, immediately brought joy and laughter into the world. Janet went on to gain her GED from Chamberlain High School in Tampa Fl. Where she continued to work and raise her children.
When Janet was young, she met Janos Nemeth, who was an active service member. They had one child together, Linda. Janos later died in a car accident.
In 1962, Janet met Clarence Call, her second husband and the two were inseparable from that point on. Janet and Clarence were together for over 40 years until his passing and had 3 children, Harriette, Dawn, and Alonzo.
Janet was a fiercely dedicated mom to all of her children, raising all 4 of them to go on to accomplish great things. Family came first and was above all else to Janet, a value she instilled in all those around her. The hole left by Janets absence is impossible to fill.
Janet was predeceased by husbands Janos Nemeth and Clarence call, parents Hazzy and Fanny, various cousins'aunts and uncles. Janet is survived by her 4 children Dawn Colby, Harriette Call, Alonzo Call, Linda Nemeth-Mackey. Her grandchildren Elliott Call, Theanna Call, Jessica Detwiler, Corey Detwiler, Crystal Thornton-Williams, Samantha Colby, Nathan Mackey, Andrew Mackey. Great grandchildren Trinity and Maximus Williams. Her sisters Jean Uszenski and Ollie Bergess. As well as many extended family members across the state.
