Jamie Bombard

Jamie Elizabeth Bombard tragically left this world on August 7, 2024, at the age of 26, surrounded by her loving family in Plattsburgh, NY after a valiant battle with cancer.

Born on July 23, 1998, in Plattsburgh, NY, to James R. Bombard and Daniella L. Smith, she was known for her vibrant soul and her infectious spirit and love for life.

She was preceded in death by her grandmothers Pamela M. Bombard, Barbara A. Gilbert, many Aunts and Uncles.

Family meant everything to Jamie, and she leaves behind her parents James Bombard and Daniella Smith; siblings Renee (Bradley Deyoe) Sousie, Alexandria (Nicholas Martin) Bombard, Joseph Bombard, Annabelle Bombard, Sophina Bombard, Emerson Bombard and Makayla Schmidt; her former Stepmother who adored her, Laura Schmidt; her beloved dog Merkules (Merk The Jerk); her friends who were there by her side through her journey Amanda Martin, Kelly (Alivia) Bell and Tyler Blaise; her nephews Triton Flora and Landon Brown; and her niece Noel-Marie Labounty; and a host of extended family and friends. She grew a connection and made many bonds with her Hospice nurses, especially Jessica Sorrell.

A self-proclaimed selfie queen and high-maintenance diva, Jamie's love for all things glamorous and sparkly was undeniable. She adored bedazzling everything in sight and expressing her unique style to the world. Jamie's passion for fashion, shopping, and bling was evident to all who knew her.

Jamie had a zest for life that was unmatched. She found joy in the simplest pleasures, whether it was reading a good book, binge-watching her favorite reality TV shows, or being the life of the party with her wild and restless spirit. Her energetic presence lit up any room she entered, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In honor of Jamie's memory, a Memorial Service will be held at the Heidrick Funeral Home, 48 Court St., in Plattsburgh on August 16, 2024, at 1:00 pm.
