Howard "Howie" Tart

Howard "Howie" E. Tart, formerly from Essex NY age 81, passed away peacefully & surrounded by family on Monday, October 3, 2022 after a courageous fight with illness. He was the son of the late Rolland and Pearl Pulsifer, Sr.
He was a proud, hardworking Quality Control Inspector for over 30 years at B&F Machine Co. in New Britain, CT. Besides spending time with his family, Howie loved fishing, going for rides in his truck, & feeding the birds. He will always be remembered for the love of his camper heading north to Lewis visiting his family. Special thanks to the family of Allen Denton for years of enjoyment camping by the brook that flows by the family farm.
Left to cherish his memory and will be greatly missed by wife, of 53 Years, Mary Tart, Son- Jon, Daughters; Maria, Heidi and Grandchildren, Dylan (Carley) Shelly and Callie, 6 Great grand children who will forever miss their witty, silly, caring Papa. Brothers- Rolland(Clarice) Pulsifer Jr., William (Nellie) Pulsifer, , George (Laurie) Pulsifer, Roger(JoAnne) Pulsifer, Sisters- Patricia (Tim) Aubin, Martha Boyer Pulsifer, Joanne (Ken)McFarland, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his Son Chuck, brothers; Frankie, Charles, Robert and Terry, brother in law Joseph Dulac, Marcel Boyea and Claude Lemieux.
A gathering will take place 11:00 AM Saturday November 12, 2022 at the Lewis Fire Department.
