Herrick F. Cross Jr.

Herrick F. Cross Jr., age 66, passed away tragically on 8/21/21.Born in Plattsburgh NY, on 2/21/1955 to Herrick and Vera Cross Sr., and was their only child. He grew up in the Essex NY countryside.
Herrick loved the time spent with his three grandchildren. He could be often found watching videos with Abby, playing games with Aiden and snuggling with Rosie. When not with his family or at work with the USPS, he could be found volunteering with Planned Parenthood and the Elmore SPCA. While volunteering and serving on the board for the Elmore SPCA he created a second family for himself. When at the SPCA he would often frequent the kitty room there for regular sessions of "kitty therapy" even though he had eight cats of his own at home.
He is survived by his son, Herrick Cross III, his daughter in law Amie, and their three children: Abigail (10), Aiden (6), and Rosalie (23 months).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Elmore SPCA in Peru NY would be appreciated by the family.
