Mr. Harold Miller, 76, of Pine Harbor in Plattsburgh, passed away Wednesday November 12, 2008 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. He was born in Ellenburg on April 11, 1932 son of the late Wesley J. and Mamie (Tourville) Miller. Harold worked for the Tobin Packing Company in Rochester for many years. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. Harold served his country in the US Army. He is survived by on son John K. Miller and his wife Elaine J. of Rochester, two granddaughters Nichole and Jessica Miller of Rochester, one brother Morris J. Miller and his wife Norma of Pawling, two sisters Ann Campbell and her husband Jack of Churubusco, Joan Bouchard of Plattsburgh, and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brothers Gerald Miller, Roland Miller, two sisters, Evaline McDonald and Eldora McDonald. Calling hours will be Friday November 14, 2008 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Heald Funeral Home, 48 Court Street, Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday November 15, 2008 at 10:30 AM from St. Edmund’s Church in Ellenburg. Burial will follow in the St. Edmund’s Cemetery. Donations in Harold’s memory may be made to the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center at CVPH Medical Center or the Ellenburg Center Fire Department.
