Gerald “Ricky” Mangum Jr, 51, of Plattsburgh, passed away Monday July 9,2018 in his home. He was born February 11,1967 to Mary C Baumann (LaVergne) and Gerald “Jerry” Mangum Sr both of Plattsburgh.
Ricky graduated from Beekmantown Central School in 1986 and worked as a property manager for Kel Properties, LLC in Plattsburgh.
Ricky is predeceased by his father and stepmother Gerald Sr & Joanne Mangum and brother, Brian Mangum.
Ricky is survived by his mother, Mary Baumann & William Baumann, of Plattsburgh,as well as a son, Sean Williams, of Dannemora and companion Ginger Nephew, of Lyon Mountain. Also his three sisters, Robin Davis & Bill Davis, of plattsburgh, Karen Whitney & Michael Russell, of Keeseville, and Pam Jarvis, of Keeseville. He also has several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
An amazing son, brother, and friend Ricky will be missed by many.
The family will be having a private burial and will release burial information at their discretion.
In lieu of flowers a donation in Ricky’s name would be appreciated to the Cancer Research Center or North Country Hospice.
