Fremonti Mario “Fred” Valenti, 92, of Plattsburgh passed away Sunday August 4, 2019 at UVM Health Network CVPH in Plattsburgh. He was born in Caramanica, Italy on May 2, 1927 son of the late Luigi and Anna (Sperduti) Valenti.
Fred served in the US Army from 1945-1947 stationed in Germany, Recalled during the Korean War and served and additional six months in 1950 and stationed sate-side.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday August 9, 2019 from Trinity Episcopal Church in Plattsburgh. Burial will be at a later date at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Buffalo.
Donations in Fred’s memory may be made to Fitzpatrick Cancer Center at CVPH, 75 Beekman St., Plattsburgh, NY 12901 or Salvation Army, 4804 S. Catherine St., Plattsburgh, NY 12901
