Frances "Carolyn" Denton-Bessey

Frances "Carolyn" Denton- Bessey, 76, of Clifton Park and formerly of Keene, passed away Monday May 1, 2017 at Saratoga Hospital after a short illness. She was born February 1, 1941 in Jay NY to the late Hiram and Agnes (Conlon) Denton.
Frances spent the majority of her life in Wilmington and Keene. She worked many years at the Neighborhood House in Keene Valley and retired from Uihlein Mercy Center in Lake Placid. Frances moved to Clifton Park after her husband Roy passed away in 1997.
Frances is survived by her four sons and their families; David and his two children, Derek and Gabriel of North Tonawanda, NY, Albert and his wife Kim and their two children, Kayla and Kyle and three great grand children of Mesa Arizona, Larry and his wife Dia and their daughter Alyssa and Larry's daughter Kaitlyn of Clifton Park and Roy and his wife Shelly of Ballston Spa, a brother James Denton and his wife Mary Anne of Black Brook and a Sister Phillis Ladd and her husband Earl of Florida. She was also predeceased by her sister Mary Denton-Germain.
Calling hours will be from9:00 to 11:00 AM on Saturday May 13, 2017 at Heald Funeral Home, 7521 Court Street, Elizabethtown. A funeral service will be 11:00 AM in the Heald Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Norton Cemetery in Keene.
