Evelyn Scroggins

Evelyn Scroggins, Plattsburgh, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2025 at the age of 102 years old.

Evelyn was born on November 7, 1922, in Cleveland, TN. In 1952, she made the heartfelt decision to move to Plattsburgh with her family, where she created a nurturing home full of warmth and love.

Evelyn's spirit sparkled brightly in her many passions. She delighted in playing bingo, frequently visiting the local casino, and was always up for an exciting game with friends and family. Her love for her grandchildren was immeasurable; she cherished every moment spent with them, sharing stories, laughter, and invaluable life lessons that will resonate with them forever.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Scroggins; her son Don Scroggins, her son Stan Scroggins, and her sister Becky Brown.

She is survived by her children Jim Scroggins and Cricket Terry; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
