Mrs. Evelyn E. LaDuke, 75, of Prospect Avenue, passed away Saturday November 15, 2008 at the CVPH medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in Plattsburgh on April 14, 1933 daughter of the late David and Irene (DesJourdy) Souliere. Evelyn was and avid BINGO and card player. She enjoyed the Kitchen Band concerts at Meadowbrook. Evelyn was a dedicated mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Evelyn is survived by nine children Susan Ayotte of West Chazy, Mary Pelkey and her husband Eugene of West Chazy, Bessie Jennette and her husband Marcel of West Chazy, Gordon LaDuke of Plattsburgh, Richard LaDuke and his wife Sherry of Schuyler Falls, Hurbert LaDuke and his wife Lucinda of Peru, Irene Hebert and her husband Kevin of West Chazy, Patrick LaDuke and his wife Dorien of Mooers, Penny Sorel and her husband Kevin of Peru, three Brothers David Souliere and his wife Ruth of Peru, Herbert Souliere and his wife Donna Lee of Peru, Roy Souliere of Haines City, Florida, two sisters Patricia LaDuke of Dannemora, Ida LaTour of Pickens, South Carolina, twenty two grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Gordon who passed away in 1968. Calling hours will be Tuesday November 18, 2008 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Heald Funeral Home, 48 Court Street, Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday November 19, 2008 at 11:00 AM from St. Joseph’s Church in West Chazy. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Donations in Evelyn’s memory may be made to H.K. Freedman Renal Center at CVPH.
