Evelyn K. Ives, 93, of Flynn Ave. in Plattsburgh, passed away Thursday July 18, 2019 at Clinton County Nursing Home in Plattsburgh. She was born in Chazy, on January 19, 1926 daughter of the late Perley and Jennie (Breyette) Frenyea.
Evelyn worked at Georgia Pacific for over 35 years, retiring in 1978. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.
Evelyn is survived by a daughter Sheila Ives of Morrisonville, a son Eldon Ives and his wife Carmen of Plattsburgh, three grandchildren; Kyle Ives, Chantell Rock, Madison Ives and three great grandchildren; Brody Welden, Hartley Welden and Oliver Ives. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM July 21, 2019 at Heald Funeral Home, 48 Court Street, Plattsburgh. A graveside service will be held 9:00 AM Monday July 22, 2019 at the Union Cemetery in Mooers Forks.
