Evelyn A. “Tootie” Baker, of Champlain Ave. in Westport, passed away peacefully, Friday November 18th’ 2016 at UVM Health Network ECH in Elizabethtown. She was born in Willsboro to the late Walter and Gladys (Daily) Wade.
Evelyn owned and operated the “Munch Van” for several years. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and reading.
Evelyn is survived by her companion of 46 years, Richard Atwell of Westport, daughter Dorothy Renadette and companion Randy Swires of Essex, son John W. Baker and companion Theresa Borden of Essex, eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her daughter June M. Baker, sister Dorothy Wilber, four brothers Guy, Walter (Bud) Jr, James and Norman Wade.
Per Evelyn's wishes, funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Heald Funeral Home, 7521 Court Street, Elizabethtown, New York 12932.
