Ernestine M. Dame-Edwards

Ernestine M. Dame-Edwards of Plattsburgh, NY, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019, after a long term illness. Ernie, as she liked to be called, was born on March 16, 1955 in Plattsburgh, NY.

She is survived by her son Garrison Edwards, his wife Andrea, and their two children Lucy and Lynnexx, her son Jayce Edwards, his wife Kissandra, and their four children, Logan, Gracie, Korbin and Kasen, all from California. She is also survived by her twin sister, Christine Dame, along with her other sisters, Robyn Graham, Celeste Parker and her husband, Harold, Donna Hock, Sonia Dame, all from Plattsburgh, NY, Terri Beeching and her husband, Jeffery, from Peru, NY, many nephews, nieces, beloved friends and her long time love, Eric Pabst. Ernie is predeceased by her parents, Donald and Mildred Dame, two sisters, Cheryl Dame and Dana LaFountain, and her only brother, John Dame.

Ernie loved loved traveling in her younger years all the way from Alaska to California and anywhere in between. She enjoyed being near or on the lake, feeling the cool breeze on her face, and she thoroughly loved to read, especially James Patterson.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, April 24, 2019 from 1:00 - 3:00pm at Heald Funeral Home, on the corner of Oak and Court Street, in the city of Plattsburgh, NY.
