Elizabeth H. (Mauran) Decker, of Westport, NY went to be with the Lord, Saturday March 5, 2016 at Essex Center in Elizabethtown. She was born in Lewis on July 13, 1928.
Elizabeth was a master embroiderer, creating many beautiful projects to share with her family and friends. She also enjoyed scrap booking, puzzles, traveling, baking, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 71 years Ray A. Decker, Sr.; one son, Ray (Crete) Decker, Jr.; two daughters, Darlene Decker, Juanita (Dan) Johnson; a daughter-in-law Nancy Decker; four sisters, Freda, Martha, Kathryn, Evelyn; one brother, Donald; eleven grandchildren, Theresa, James, Kalyma, Christine, Andrew, Elaine, Stephanie, Lance, Catherine, Elizabeth, and Nathan; and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her daughter Roberta; her son, Gordon; brothers, Irving, Howard, Alfred and one sister Dorothy.
Calling hours will be from 10:00 – 11:00 AM Tuesday March 8, 2016 at Marvin-Heald Funeral Home, 7521 Court Street, Elizabethtown. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM in the Marvin-Heald Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at a later date in Brainard’s Forge Cemetery in Westport.
