Douglas E. Pilon 47, of Orlando, Florida passed away unexpectedly Sunday April 6th, 2014 as a result of a motorcycle accident. He was born on February 14, 1967 to Douglas E. and Cheryl A. (Dwight) Pilon.
Doug had a passion for driving Tractor Trailers and being a mechanic. Doug made many friends throughout the years and enjoyed telling stories and making everyone laugh. Everyone who knew him can see his smile hear his laughter and his special saying HEH! Doug also enjoyed reminiscing about the old days and telling stories about some of the things he and his dad did. Doug will be missed by all who knew him.
Doug leaves behind 4 children; Cassie & Casey of Londonderry, NH, Colby of Valdesta, Ga and Rosalyn of Chazy, his Father Douglas E. Pilon and stepmother Linda, siblings; Mary Keiter and her husband Bob, brothers; Donald Pilon and his companion Sherrie, Dennis Pilon and his wife Jamie, Darren Pilon and his wife Deneen, Sister Debbie Pilon, Darrell Pilon and his companion Meagan , Denise Bushey and her husband Kyle, a step sister Leah Glascock and her husband Rene along with several nieces and nephews, his aunt and uncles; Ward & Pat Dwight of Chazy, NY, Paul & Sue Raymond of Constable, NY, Mel Washburn of Bethel, Vermont. Doug also leaves behind his favorite two dogs Zeke and Riley, and many friends. He was predeceased by his mother Cheryl Ann Pilon, his maternal Grandparents Ward and Neva Dwight and his paternal Grandparents Ephrem and Mary Pilon.
Calling hours will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Friday April 11, 2014 at Heald Funeral Home, 48 Court Street, Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 Am Saturday April 12, 2014 from Sacred Heart Church in Chazy. Burial will be at a later date in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
