Dorothy S. Hathaway, 77, of Stowersville road, passed away Wednesday September 17, 2014 at the Essex Center Rehabilitaion Center in Elizabethtown. She was born in Plattsburgh on January 27, 1937 daughter of the late Michael and Luella (Vill) Riley.
Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many.She enjoyed making crafts and cooking for her family and friends.
Dorothy is survived by two sons; Michael Soper of Glens Falls, Robert Soper of lewis, one sister Margaret McCaw of Plattsburgh, three step sons; Randy Hathaway, Gary Hathaway, William Spear all of Lewis, two granddaughters Ashley Soper and Jennifer Reynolds both of Lewis. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Dorothy is predeceased by both her husbands Phillip Soper and William Hathaway.
At Dorothy’s request there will be no calling hours or services. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
