Doris E. Taormina, of Oswego Ln., Plattsburgh, NY passed away peacefully at her home on Friday August 1, 2014 at the age of 76.
Doris lived most of her life in Hopewell, NJ. until moving to Plattsburgh in 2007. She was employed by the State of New Jersey for many years and retired in 2002.
Doris lovingly devoted her entire life to her husband of 57 years, Sal, and her daughters Flo and Peg and their husbands and families. She is also survived by her sisters Florence Bregenzer and Nancy Girton. She especially enjoyed her six grandchildren Chris, Becky, Sarah, Ann, Heather, Tara and her great grandson Asher.
Doris loved cooking and spending time with her extended family, many nieces, nephews and friends. She will be greatly missed but will forever be in our hearts.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Alphonsus Church in Hopewell, NJ..
In lieu of flowers, donations in Doris’ memory may be made to Hospice of the North Country, 358 Tom Miller Road, Plattsburgh, NY 12901.
