Doris (Genes) Plante, 79, passed away on May 29, 2017, peacefully with her family by her side at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh NY. Doris (Dee) Plante was born in the Bronx of New York In 1937 daughter of the late Anthony and Letty (Tamburino) Genes.
In 1965 she relocated to Long Island, NY where she rasied her family. She then relocated to Elizabethtown, New York in 1985.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Raymond W Plante of Elizabethtown, NY; their children and spouses: Donna and Pauly Hansen of Toms River NJ, Lynda and Richie Garbati of Virgina Beach VA, Raymond A and Judy Plante of Lewis NY, George Plante of Las Vegas NV, Robert M and Lisa Plante of Lewis NY. Her grandchildren: Jennifer, Kevin, Nicole, Anthony, Tanya, Raymond S, Josh, Meagan, Valerie, Michelle, RJ, Brandon, Julia; and her great grandchildren: Madelyn, Hunter, Wyatt, Roman, Dominic, Gabriel, Elliana, Cayden, Brielle, Isabella, and Dallas. Her siblings and spouses; Anthony and Jeannette Genes of Anaheim CA and Micheal Genes of Leesburg, VA.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Doris’ memory may be made to Elizabethtown-Lewis Ambulance Squad.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Heald Funeral Home, 7521 Court Street, Elizabethtown.
