Donna L. (Sawyer) Cooper

Donna Cooper(Sawyer) 70 of Elizabethtown NY passed away Saturday October 23,2021 at Elizabethtown Hospital. She was born to Robert and Marie(Stoffel)Sawyer of Saranac Lake NY on January 17,1951.
She graduated from Franklin Academy June 1969,she went on with her life with some special gifts,she enjoyed baking,signing in church choirs,
she was a deacon for a time,taking walks,always had her door open if a person needed to talk,a bite to eat, or one of her special hugs, when she hugged you knew,
she warmed everyone's heart,she turned a frown into a smile.
Donna, was always giving even if she had nothing for herself.
When she moved to Elizabethtown about 3 years ago she found a community of people that she never considered friends but family,Grahams and Lamottes
she never needed for anything they made sure of that.
She left this life knowing she was loved by all.
Donna is survived by so many friends and family, her Sister Terry Kurtz(Rick) of Malone, her daughters Jennifer Graham(Louie) of Plattsburgh NY, Stephanie(Bickford) and David Sears of Lake Placid NY,Nephews William Kurtz of Elizabethtown NY, Tommy Kurtz of Saranac Lake NY,Granddaughters Theresa McAuley(Kevin) of Elizabethtown NY,
Sarah McAuley(Dan) of Keeseville NY,Jessica (Lamotte) and Charles Paro,of Elizabethtown NY.
Gaberial Sears,Crystal Sears of Lake Placid NY,Grandsons Jon Sears(Erica) and Jeremiah Sears of Lake Placid NY, and many great grandchildren.
Also one brother-in-law Thomas Kurtz of Lake Placid, and a young man who she called a son Craig Lamotte of Elizabethtown NY.Donna, is predeceased by her parents Robert and Marie(Sawyer)Callahan, her sons Joseph Cooper,and son James Bickford and many other family members.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
