Donald R. Minckler, Sr., 82, of Redwood St., Passed away Wednesday January 29, 2020 at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, VT. He was born in Lyon Mountain on July 6, 1937 on of the late William and Myrtle (Atkinson) Minckler.
Donald was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Donald is survived by his wife the former Marjorie King, three daughter; Sarah Cornish and her husband Ricky, Lillian Russell and her husband James, Sally Minckler, one son; Frederick Minckler and his wife Heidi, a very special friend Allan Nixon, two brothers; Charles Minckler, William Minckler and his wife Patricia, one sister; Anne Hatfield, several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, one great-great grandson and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a son Donald “Bunny” Minckler, Jr., five brothers and two sisters.
Calling hours will be Tuesday February 4, 2020 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Heald Funeral Home, 48 Court St. Plattsburgh. A funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM.
