Donald G. Julian

Donald G. Julian, 73, of Cumberland Head passed away Wednesday November 3, 2021 at UVM Health Network CVPH in Plattsburgh. He was born in Bradford, PA., September 16, 1948 son of the late Dominic and Stella (Cottillion) Julian.
Donald worked for the D.O.C., retiring in 2007 from Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp, serving in Vietnam. Donald was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was N.J. Devils biggest fan! Donald was always there to lend a hand to anyone that needed help. He will be missed by many especially his canine friend Lola.
Donald is survived by his wife the former Linda Gillespie of Plattsburgh, one daughter; Michelle Duprey and her husband John, two grandchildren; Alyssa McKinnon, Jeremy Duprey, Two brothers; Danny Rock and his wife Jeannie of Chateauguay, Marty Rock and his wife Linda of Gettysburg, PA., two sisters; Kathleen Wright and her husband Ben of Port Kent, Carol LaMare and her husband Todd of Dannemora. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a daughter Danielle Knight and a granddaughter Shanelle.
Calling hours will be from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM Sunday November 7, 2021 at Heald Funeral Home, 48 Court Street, Plattsburgh. A prayer service will follow at 4:00 PM. A graveside service with military honors will be 11:00 AM Monday November 8, 2021 in St. Mary’s of the Lake Cemetery on Cumberland Head.
