Donald J. Jabaut, 84 of Beas Way, passed away Tuesday October 8, 2013 at the Meadowbrook Health care Facility in Plattsburgh. He was born in Plattsburgh on October 27, 1928 son of the late Edward and Margaret (McGee) Jabaut. Donald worked at CVPH Medical Center of over 30 years, retiring as a Respiratory Therapist. He was an avid Mets fan. Donald was well known for his Baseball card shop at his home on Lynde Street. Donald is survived by his four children; Greg Jabaut and his wife Beverly of Plattsburgh, Pamela Morrison and her husband Richard “Mo” of Plattsburgh, Julie Rose and her husband Jim of Plattsburgh, Craig Jabaut and his wife Heather of Plattsburgh, two grandchildren; Eric Chaney and his wife Tanisha of San Antonio, TX., Josh Rose of Plattsburgh, three great grandchildren; Hailey, Cameron and Mya. He is predeceased by his wife Barbara who passed away May 9, 2007. Calling hours will be Friday October 11, 2013 from 11:00 to 12:00 Noon at Heald Funeral Home, 48 Court Street, Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 Noon in the funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery in Plattsburgh.
