Donald E. “Duke” Dupraw, 72, of Church St. in Redford passed away Wednesday May 1, 2019 at Plattsburgh Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Plattsburgh. He was born in Plattsburgh on October 27, 1946 son of the late Roy and Marguerite (LaFountain) Dupraw.
Donald was an avid hunter, enjoyed watching baseball with his brother Jim always rooting for the New York Yankees. You could usually find him at the American Legion in Redford having a Genny Light or at Buckley’s Bum’s Hunting Camp.
Donald is survived by three sons; Donnie Mike of Plattsburgh, Jarod Dupraw and his wife Cheryl of Beekmantown, Jesse Dupraw of Redford, two sisters; Winnie Sipe and her husband George of Pittsburgh, PA, Gail Wood and her husband Ronald of Saranac, grandchildren; Erica Dupraw, Cody Dupraw, Aubrey Dupraw, Harmony Dupraw, great granddaughter; Remie Leavine, and one aunt Louise LaFountain of Saranac Lake. He is also survived by nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his wife Linda, a brother James Dupraw and a sister Mary Lou Dashnaw.
The family will receive guests from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Monday May 6, 2019 at Church of the Assumption in Redford. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery.
