Dennis Lockrow

Dennis James Lockrow, born on August 23, 1951, in Troy, NY, and passed away on September 3, 2024, in Elizabethtown, NY.

Dennis, a dedicated member of the Hoosic Fire Department, fulfilled his role as an armorer in the firearms industry with passion and precision. Beyond his professional pursuits, he enjoyed the simple joys of life-fishing, camping, and the thrill of visiting casinos, particularly in New Jersey.

For six decades, Dennis called Cohoes his home before relocating to Elizabethtown about three years ago. His roots ran deep in the communities he lived, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Anna Lockrow; and his brothers-in-law Robert Haun and Joseph Lavigne.

He is survived by his sisters Cheryl Gowett (Henry Goff) and Mary Jane Lavigne; his nieces and nephews Brenda Freer, Brian Lavigne, Michael Gowett, Kristina Gowett, Kyle Gowett; and Douglas Gowett, his former brother-in-law; as well as several great-nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Saratoga National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
