David Scott “Scotty” Fenlaw, 60, of Plattsburgh passed away peacefully at Clinton County Nursing Home on July 16, 2019.
Scotty was born in Plattsburgh on June 19, 1959, the first son of the late Joe and Sally (Michelucci) Fenlaw. He graduated from Plattsburgh Senior High School in 1978.
He spent much of his professional life helping others, working the seafood counter at Grand Union and other grocery stores in Plattsburgh. His customers enjoyed his smile, friendliness, and outgoing personality.
Scotty was full of life and outside of work enjoyed playing golf and bowling with his friends, listening to rock music and attending concerts, especially by his all-time favorite band KISS, watching movies, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by three siblings, Chris Fenlaw of Plattsburgh, Tracey Broderick of Swanton, VT, and Mary Beth Ezra and her husband David of New York City; and two nieces, Lauren and Erica Broderick. In keeping with Scotty’s wishes, there will be no funeral services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Honor Flight Network.
