Dana LaFountain

Plattsburgh Dana Dame LaFountain, 50, of Military Turnpike in Plattsburgh passed away unexpectedly, Saturday October 19, 2013 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born January 11, 1963 daughter of the late Donald and Mildred (Lashway) Dame. Dana was a devoted and loving mother, sister, grandmother and girlfriend who loved her family and friends dearly. She enjoyed riding and anything associated with Harley Davidsons. Dana is survived by her children: Jessie Gifford and her husband Aaron of Plattsburgh, Meagan LaFountain , Jayson LaFountain, Nathan Morrison, her companion Bruce Shumway all of Plattsburgh, her siblings: Shelley Parker and her husband Harold of Morrisonville, Sonia Dame of Iowa, Donna Dame of Plattsburgh, Ernie Dame-Edwards and her partner Eric Pabst of Plattsburgh, Crriss Dame of Plattsburgh, John Dame and his wife Janet of Schuyler Falls, Robin Graham of Plattsburgh, Terri Beeching and her husband Jeffrey of Peru, three grandchildren; Sabryn Nephew, Miyah Nephew and Byron Thomas all of Plattsburgh. She is predeceased by a sister Cheryl Dame. Calling hours will be Wednesday October 23, 2013 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Heald Funeral Home 48 Court Street, Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Donations in Dana’s Memory may be made to the family.
