Dale Travis Tucker

Dale Travis Tucker, 80, of 145 Silver Street, died Thursday, October 6, 2016 at CVPH medical center under the loving watch of his family and friends. He was born in Plattsburgh NY, November 10th, 1935, the son of Eleanor Ileen Kelley and was adopted by her husband Harold Tucker.

Travis received his law degree from Colgate University where he made Law Review. His law career began in his father’s practice and continued after his father’s death. He was the Justice of the Peace in the town of Plattsburgh and later became assistant attorney general in Plattsburgh for the state of New York

In 1958, he married Susan Waters of Detroit Michigan and had four children, Kelly, Shanna, Jason and Shane. In 1979 he was remarried to Susan Sarah Demarais of Cumberland Head, NY. With her he had two children, Asa W. Tucker and Rachael A. Tucker.

There will be no calling hours. A private spreading of his ashes will occur in the spring of 2017.
