Clarence R Trudeau was Born January 3, 1931 in Plattsburgh, NY He died on September 30, 2020. Clarence grew up in Ellenburg, NY. He graduated from Ellenburg High School in 1949. In 1950, he was married to Marie Dubray. He is retired from New York State Department of Corrections.
He was always an avid lover of the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trapping. His one goal in life was to have a Christmas Tree Farm. In 1967, he began to fulfill his dream. By 1980, his dream had come true and his dream continues with family continuing the tree farm in Chazy Lake.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Dewey and Viola Trudeau, his brother-in-law Francis Barber and his son-in-law George Giametta.
He is survived by his wife Marie Dubray Trudeau; his sister Mildred Barber; his children: Chuck Trudeau and his wife Monique of Plattsburgh, NY; Debra Giametta and her fiancé Dave Kellogg of Wappingers Falls, NY; Alan Trudeau of Champlain, NY; Diane Kopaskie and her husband Stan of Hernando Beach, FL; Colleen Trudeau Merrill and husband Darren of Saranac, NY. His 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
A Christian Burial will be at the new St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Dannemora, NY on Friday, October 9th at 2:00pm.
